The class meets for six two-hour sessions beginning on Wednesday, April 6 at the Wilton Family YMCA branch from 10 a.m. - noon on Wednesdays on April 20, 27 and May 4, 11, and 18.

This results-oriented class is for stay-at-home moms who are ready and willing to tackle obstacles leading to navigating a successful professional re-invention; including psychological, confidence building, skill gaps and lack of direction.

This is a comprehensive program for moms ready to re-claim their lives and vitality, and position themselves for future professional success either now or in years to come. This hugely successful class teaches you how to put yourself on the map while raising your children, live more authentically and be fulfilled without compromising your parenting choices.

“The program I have created allows mothers to gain personal insight, and a new way of looking at their own employability,” said Berger, “As you learn to map a professional plan and become versed in articulating your own value with confidence, the barriers that have kept you from engaging in professional pursuits will fall away rather non-dramatically.”

Participants will examine and re-package their skills, accomplishments and interests acquired from their educational and professional experiences (pre-children) combined with their volunteer experiences and accomplishments while at home with their children.

This will then lead to the creation of a working resume that best highlights skills and history while minimizing the gap in work history. The fee for the 6 sessions is $395 for Y members and $425 for non-members. Optional career assessments are available for an additional fee of $125.

Seating for classes is limited and reservations with payment in advance are required. To register visit www.wiltonymca.org
