Wilton Library Offers Garden Club, Author Talk, Chess Classes

WILTON, Conn. -- The Wilton Library will present a garden club, beginner and advanced chess for children and an author talk in April.

WLA/Garden Club: Designing with Michael Derouin will take place from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Monday. There is a suggested donation of $5 at the door. Registration is strongly encouraged. 

Children's Beginner Chess for grades 1-7 is from 4-5 p.m. Thursdays from April 7 through June 2, except for April 14. In-person registration is required. Participation is $80 per student for all eight meetings.

Children's Advanced Chess for grades 3-7 is from 5-6 p.m. Thursdays from April 7 through June 2, except for April 14. Participation is $80 per student and in-person registration is required.

Christine Reilly will give an author talk for "Sunday's on the Phone to Monday" from 7-8:30 p.m. Wednesday, April 27. Registration is highly recommended. Books will be available for purchase and signing.
