What To Do In Wilton This Weekend

Friday, May 10

Author Elizabeth Benedict on "What My Mother Gave Me:" 7 to 8:30 p.m. Just in time for Mother's Day, Elizabeth Benedict, editor of "What My Mother Gave Me: Thirty-One Women on the Gifts That Mattered Most," will stop by the Wilton Library to discuss the book. Reception will follow. Copies of the book will be available for purchase and signing. Free, but registration encouraged. Wilton Library, 137 Old Ridgefield Road.

"Lucie Arnaz: Latin Roots" 8 p.m. Lucie Arnaz, daughter of Lucille Ball and Desi Arnaz, brings her show "Latin Roots" to the Ridgefield Playhouse. An homage to her father’s legacy, the show will include a 12-piece big band, video footage and plenty of costume changes. Tickets are $55 and are available online. Ridgefield Playhouse, 80 East Ridge St., Ridgefield. 

Saturday, May 11

Annual Town Meeting: 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Registered Wilton voters can vote on the proposed town and education budges, as well as five capital projects. Clune Center, Wilton High School, 395 Danbury Road. 

Drop-in Mother’s Day Crafts: 10 a.m. to  5 p.m Children of all ages can stop by to make a craft to take home to mom for Mother's Day. No program fee and no registration required. Wilton Library, 137 Old Ridgefield Road.

Sunday, May 12

Mother's Day Brunch: 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Celebrate Mom and all of the special women in your life with a garden brunch at Terrain, featuring a seasonal, three-course menu of locally-sourced cuisine. $30 per person.
