"Seeds of Diversity" will be held at the Wilton Historical Society on Saturday, Jan. 14, from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
Museum educator Lola Chen will talk about King’s ideals as the children plant seeds of different shapes, sizes, and colors, which will soon sprout side by side. The kids will be taking home their planters and watching the seeds grow. Once the plants are large enough, they can be transplanted into a pot and later to the garden.
The workshop Includes snack which the children will make themselves, Birds of Pizza. The program costs $10 per child, with a maximum of $25 per family.
