Wilton-Based Commonfund Hires Ellen Blix To Build West Coast Footprint

WILTON, Conn. -- Commonfund, an investment company based in Wilton, has hired Ellen Blix as managing director of institutional sales and relationship management.

Blix will be based in San Francisco.

Before joining Commonfund, Blix was a vice president in the Global Client Group at BlackRock, where she was responsible for U.S. institutional business development in the western region. She had also held positions with Lehman Brothers and JP Morgan Securities.
