FAIRFIELD COUNTY, Conn. -- Bands of heavy rain moved through Fairfield County on Thursday morning, knocking out power in a number of towns.
The most outages were reported in Westport, with 118 customers without power, or about 1 percent of the town, Connecticut Light & Power said.
United Illuminating reported that the town of Fairfield has 37 customers without power.
Other power outages reported as of 10 a.m. by CL&P include:
- New Canaan, with one customer without power;
- Stamford, with four customers without power;
- Weston with 12 customers without power; and
- Wilton, with three customers without power.
