Traffic Alert: Northbound Hillspoint Road Closed For Work In Westport

WESTPORT, Conn. — Drivers are being warned of an upcoming closure on Hillspoint Road.On Friday, the northbound lane of Hillspoint Road between Hillandale Road and Post Road East will be closed from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m., Westport police said.

Northbound traffic will be detoured east onto Hillandale Road and then north onto West Parish Road in order to access Post Road East.

Southbound traffic on Hillspoint Road will be unaffected.

This detour is necessary so that Aquarion can complete essential work along the route.

Motorists can anticipate minor delays and are encouraged to allow extra time along this route.
