Covid-19: Both NY, CT Get Poor Scores For Preventing Prisoners From Getting Virus, Study Says New York and Connecticut both received low grades for their handling of the COVID-19 pandemic in state prisons, according to a criminal justice group. WSHU Public Radio reported that both states received a score of F+, higher than the average of states graded by the Prison Policy Initiative.  The news outlet said most states received a grade of F. New Jersey received a C, the highest score.  The Prison Policy Initiative graded states on about 30 metrics, including vaccination efforts, WSHU reported. Sacred Heart University Will Unveil George Lombardi Lobby Forty-eight years have passed since George Lombardi first became involved in WSHU Public Radio at Sacred Heart University, back when he was a student here and started working at the station as an engineer. When something broke, Lombardi fixed it, set it up or rewired it. After graduation, Lombardi left WSHU to pursue a career in industry. He worked as a lab technician for Raybestos-Manhattan, a company that specialized in making car parts, and then he worked as a technical purchasing buyer at Perkin Elmer.
