Man Nabbed In Westport For Stealing Pro-Israel Signs, Police Say
A 27-year-old man has been charged with allegedly stealing pro-Israel yard signs in Fairfield County in front of a police officer. New York City resident William Banks, of Brooklyn, was charged with larceny on Tuesday, Feb. 27 in Westport. Lt. Eric Woods of the Westport Police said on Saturday, Dec. 30, 2023, an investigation was launched after receiving complaints from residents of the theft of Israel Flag yard signs in the Colony Road neighborhood.
