Speeding Motorist Caught Without License, With Machete In Milford, Police Say A speeding stop in Connecticut had an unusual conclusion after the driver was busted without a license while carrying a large machete, police said. Officers from the Milford Police Department stopped Inverness, Florida, resident Max Parsell, 27, at approximately 9 a.m. on Monday, July 22, when he was spotted speeding on Wheelers Farm Road near the intersection of Oak Bluff Road. During the stop, police said that Parsell was arrested after it was determined that he was behind the wheel without a legal driver’s license. Police: Shelton Man Found With Crack, Pipes During Traffic Stop SHELTON, Conn. — A 51-year-old Shelton man was arrested after officers found two glass smoking pipes containing crack cocaine in his car during a traffic stop, Milford police said.  Harry Ridgway of 13 Horseshoe Drive was stopped for speeding at about noon on Jan. 3 on Wheelers Farm Road in Milford near the border with Orange, police said.   During the stop, officers found the pipes and drugs, leading to the arrest of Ridgway, police said.  He was charged with possession of a controlled substance and possession of a controlled substance.  He was released on a promise to appear in court on…
