Westport Police: Woman Resisted Arrest In Hit & Run With Injuries
WESTPORT, Conn. — A Westport woman was arrested Jan. 5 after she left the scene of an accident and then resisted arrest, police said.
Victoria Lieber, 44, of Cranbury Road, was charged with evading responsibility, restricted turn and interfering with an officer, police said.
Around 4:15 p.m., officers were dispatched to the intersection of Wilton Road and Newtown Turnpike on a report of a head-on motor vehicle collision with injuries.
While the officers were assisting the injured victims inside one vehicle, the other vehicle left the area, police said.
