Tractor-Trailer Strikes Bridge On Hutchinson River Parkway, Causing Gridlock
A lane of a roadway in the region is closed after a tractor-trailer struck a bridge, causing lengthy delays. The incident happened in Westchester County on the northbound side of the Hutchinson River Parkway at Weaver Street in Scarsdale just before 7 p.m. Monday, April 17, Westchester County Police said. Tractor-Trailer Fire Causes Delays On I-95, CT State Police Report
Authorities reported heavy delays on I-95 in Connecticut due to a tractor-trailer fire. The tractor-trailer fire happened in New London County on the northbound highway near Exit 73 in East Lyme, Connecticut State Police reported at about 11:30 a.m. on Tuesday, May 10. Tractor-Trailer Crash Causes Hours-Long I-95 Delays
This story has been updated. There were delays of around two hours on a stretch of I-95 after a tractor-trailer crash in Fairfield County. The crash happened on the northbound side Friday morning, Aug. 21 at around 4 a.m., initially shutting down all lanes in Darien between Noroton Avenue/Exit 10 and Route 1/Exit 11. One lane reopened around daybreak with traffic backed up to Harvard Avenue/West Avenue (Exit 6) in Stamford. The highway did not fully reopen until the end of the morning commute.

Hutchinson River Parkway Lane Closure Scheduled
The New York State Department of Transportation is advising motorists of a lane closure on the Hutchinson River Parkway. The Department says a lane closure is scheduled for the Hutchinson River Parkway northbound and southbound between Exit 8 (Sanford Boulevard) and Exit 13 (Cross County Parkway) in the Westchester County villages of Eastchester and Mount Vernon and the city of New Rochelle.
