Man Nabbed For Pair Of CT Robberies Using Fake Firearm: Police A Connecticut man was caught for two separate robberies, during which he allegedly used a fake gun to threaten employees, police said. Both Tolland County incidents took place in the town of Mansfield on Wednesday, Jan. 17. Around 3:45 p.m., 25-year-old Jacob Neff of Coventry allegedly pulled out a firearm at both the Domino’s Pizza on Storrs Road and the CVS Pharmacy nearby. No injuries were reported in either incident. Neff was later found by police near the Price Chopper supermarket, at 1220 Storrs Road, where he was arrested. CT Driver Accused Of Speeding Through University's Campus While Impaired A 33-year-old woman is accused of driving under the influence after police said she was caught speeding through the University of Connecticut's main campus early in the morning. Troopers in Tolland County saw a Chevrolet Equinox traveling south at a high rate of speed in the area of Storrs Road and Moulton Road in Mansfield at about 4 a.m. on Sunday, Dec. 4, Connecticut State Police reported. At about 11 a.m. on Sunday, Aug. 7, troopers were investigating a report that a vehicle was stolen at 12:45 a.m. in the Tolland County town of Willington, and while at a home on Ashford Center Road in Ashford, they saw the stolen Ford Mustang driving west, according to Connecticut State Police.
