Investigation Temporarily Closes Beach In Fairfield County
An investigation into suspicious or hazardous materials led police to close an area of a popular Fairfield County beach for a short time. The incident took place in Stratford at Short Beach on Tuesday, April 26. The Stratford Police with the assistance of the Connecticut State Police conducted part of an ongoing investigation which led officers to the area of Short Beach to investigate suspicious or hazardous materials, said Capt.
