Man Tries Entering Locked Vehicles, Then Leads Police On Pursuit Into Fairfield County Authorities are warning residents to keep their cars locked after a man was caught trying to enter parked vehicles in Westchester before leading police on a chase into Connecticut.  The incident began on Friday, Jan. 26 around 2 a.m., when an alert resident in Rye in the area of Martin Road noticed an unknown man in her driveway and called the police. Man Found Dead After Going For Swim Under I-95 Bridge, Police Say A 52-year-old man was found dead after going swimming under a bridge in Westchester County. The incident took place in the Byram River under the I-95 bridge in Port Chester around 4:30 p.m., on Tuesday, Aug. 9. According to the Port Chester Police, the department received a 911 reporting the man went underwater and never resurfaced.
