2 Children Hit By Vehicle On Busy CT Roadway Two children ages 7 and 9 were struck by a vehicle on a busy Connecticut roadway.  The incident took place in New Haven County around 4 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 30 in the area of 150 Sunnyside Ave., Waterbury. According to Lt. Ryan Bessette of the Waterbury Police, the children were both struck and injured. The driver stayed on the scene. Both children were transported to Waterbury Hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries and were considered to be in stable condition, Bessette said. This accident remains under investigation.
