20-Year-Old CT Tractor Driver Killed In Crash, Police Say
A 20-year-old Connecticut man crossing a roadway on a tractor was struck and killed by a passing car.
The crash took place in Hartford County in East Granby, around 9:30 a.m., Thursday, Sept. 14 on Floydville Road.
According to the Connecticut State Police, a 33-year-old East Hartland woman identified as Lila Guarco, was driving a Jeep Cherokee Latitude on Floydville Road when she struck a tractor crossing the roadway.

Connecticut State Police are seeking witnesses to a crash on I-84 that killed a 24-year-old man.
The crash took place in Hartford County around 4:30 p.m., Wednesday, April 19 on I-84 in Southington.
According to state police, Elijah Joseph Vallier, age 24, of New Britain, was driving a 2003 Ford F-250 truck eastbound on the highway in the right lane of three when the driver of a 2023 Tesla Model 3 driven by Fairfield County resident Shannon James Sherry, age 47, of Fairfield, veered across the center lane, into the right lane and collided with the truck.

Connecticut State Police say a woman was also struck in a five-vehicle crash that killed a popular off-duty firefighter.
New Haven Firefighter Thomas Mieles, age 27, was driving north on I-91 when his car became disabled in the left lane around 9:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 2.
Mieles, of New Haven, who was outside of his car, died when he was hit by an SUV during the crash, said the Connecticut State Police.

According to state police, Michael Daddona, age 78, a resident of the Town of Bethlehem in Litchfield County, was driving a Chevrolet Bolt south on Route 6 in when he crossed the center line and hit Constance Schanio, age 34, of Woodbury, heading north in a Jeep Grand Cherokee.

The incident happened just before 4 p.m. Sunday, June 5 in Danbury.
A 2016 Honda Fit being driven by a 27-year-old woman from Providence, Rhode Island, was traveling in the left of five lanes on I-84 eastbound, prior to Exit 4, Connecticut State Police said, when the pedestrian, identified as Mariano Canales-Hernandez, age 77, was attempting to cross the east lanes from the center median.

Interstate 95 in Greenwich was closed for five hours following a fatal crash between a car and a freight truck.
The crash took place around 5:30 p.m., Monday, Nov. 30, on I-95 southbound just south of Exit 6 in Greenwich, said the Connecticut State Police.
