Westport Man Charged In Armed Robbery Of Fairfield Subway Shop
A Fairfield County man is facing charges after allegedly holding up a Subway restaurant at gunpoint in Fairfield and stealing hundreds of dollars, hours after stealing from a tip jar at a different location earlier in the day, police said. Walter Reed, of Westport, allegedly robbed Subway at 709 Post Road in Fairfield on May 2, when he reportedly asked a cashier to make change for a dollar bill,” Fairfield Lt. John Bucherati said.
