Man Riding Scooter Seriously Injured In Crash Involving Westchester Driver In Fairfield County A man operating a scooter was seriously injured after he was struck by a vehicle driven by a Westchester man in Fairfield County. It happened on Friday night, Feb. 14. At approximately 9:53 p.m., the Bridgeport Emergency Communications Center received a telephone call from Bridgeport Hospital stating it had a male party in its emergency department who was struck by a car. Bridgeport's First Homicide Victim Of Year Identified Bridgeport's first homicide victim of 2020 has been identified by police. Abdul Hassan Lemon, 38, of Bridgeport, was found lying on Remington Street around 1:30 a.m., Friday, Jan. 10, said Bridgeport Police Capt. Brian Fitzgerald. Police responded to the area after receiving notification of shots fired from the Shotspotter system, as well as calls from area residents, Fitzgerald said. Once on the scene, officers found Lemon lying in the street suffering from several gunshot wounds, he added.
