New Arrest Made In Violent Fall Brawl In Westport A man who told police he was an innocent bystander during a violent street fight following a traffic crash in Westport, has been charged with taking part in the violence. Jose Alvarado, 41, of Bridgeport, who told officers he was an innocent bystander, was later determined by detectives to have taken part in the assault of a Derby man, has been charged with assault after being arrested by Connecticut State Police and handed over to Westport Police.
