Norwalk Officer Injured When Stolen Truck Slams Into Cruiser During Chase NORWALK, Conn. -- Someone who stole a pickup truck in Norwalk early Tuesday morning intentionally backed into one cruiser and drove directly at another before crashing and running away, according to police. At around 3 a.m. Tuesday, officers responded to a home on Assisi Way for a report of a stolen vehicle. A description of the stolen vehicle, a Chevy pickup, was broadcast to all units, and moments later an officer spotted it traveling southbound on the Route 7 Connector.
