Panera Bread at the Trumbull Mall in Trumbull, closed on Tuesday, Jan. 9. "Unfortunately, Panera Bread did close last week, January 9," said mall management. "They had been a part of the Trumbull community since 2010, and we are certainly disappointed that they've made the decision to exit." CT Woman Arrested For Leaving 2-Year-Old In Car, Police Say A 23-year-old woman was arrested after allegedly leaving her 2-year-old daughter in a vehicle while she was inside Panera Bread. The incident took place in New Haven County around noon on Tuesday, Aug. 24 when the Milford Police were called to the restaurant at 1627 Boston Post Road after the child was found in the car, police said. The child's mother, identified as New London County resident Katie Ayala, age 23, of the Town of Bozrah, Connecticut, left the toddler in the vehicle for more than seven minutes, police said. A man and woman are wanted for allegedly using credit cards stolen from the wallet of a purse at Panera Bread in Fairfield, Fairfield Police said. The wallet was stolen at about 2:30 p.m. on Monday, Dec. 23, according to police. At approximately 3 p.m., the credit cards taken from the wallet were used at both Target and the Apple Store within the Westfield Trumbull Mall, police said.
