16-Year-Old Teen Girl Shot In Head While Passenger In Vehicle, Bridgeport Police Say
Police are investigating the shooting of a 16-year-old girl in the head while a passenger in a vehicle in Bridgeport.
The shooting took place around 1 a.m., Sunday, Jan. 26, in the area of James Street and Calhoun Avenue, said Scott Appleby, director of Office of Emergency Management for the City of Bridgeport.
According to Appleby, patrol officers responded to the scene and located multiple shell casings. While investigating, officers found the victim, a 16-year-old girl, on Cottage Street.
