According to Wilton Police, Charnas attempted to impersonate an FBI agent after making several phone calls to the agency in October 2022. Rickey Trayham, age 28, of New Haven, was found guilty on Wednesday, May 31 by a jury in New Haven of the murder of Rondell Atkinson on Monday, June 7, 2021, said New Haven State’s Attorney John Doyle, Jr.  According to evidence introduced at trial, Traynham shot Atkinson, age 33, of West Haven, during a robbery at the Pease Road Playground in Woodbridge.  Atkinson’s body was found the next day by a jogger. Jeffrey Krahling of Wallingford was sentenced in New Haven Superior Court to a term of between seven and 15 years in prison, which will be suspended after seven years.
