Police Break Up Underage Drinking Party With 16 Teens In Area Police in Fairfield County broke up a party filled with more than a dozen drinking teenagers following a noise complaint. Members of the Darien Police Department were dispatched to a Contentment Island home in Darien at approximately 9:15 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 26, where there was a report of a party with minors drinking alcohol. Police said that upon arrival at the home, one of the party-goers, a 17-year-old teenager was “clearly exhibiting signs of intoxication and had the odor of an alcoholic beverage emanating from his person.” According to police, the officers were informed that the …
