Wrong-Way Crash: Bar Receipts, Social Media Lead To Arrest After Woman, 25, Killed In Danbury A months-long investigation aided by bar receipts and social media posts led to the arrest of a man in connection with a wrong-way alleged drunk driving Connecticut crash that took the life of a young Fairfield County woman. The crash happened on Route 7 in Danbury around 2 a.m. Sunday, Sept. 10 in the southbound lane just north of Exit 7. Man Charged In Connection To Double-Fatal, Head-On I-95 Crash In December A Connecticut man has been taken into police custody in connection to a fatal head-on crash on I-95 in December last year, state police announced. Connecticut State Police said that Groton resident Jose Vicente Noriega-Gonzalez, 38, was arrested on Tuesday, Aug. 27, on a warrant for his role in the crash in Stonington on Dec. 16 last year that left two dead. Noriega-Gonzalez has been charged with two counts of manslaughter with a motor vehicle, two counts of assault, reckless endangerment, driving the wrong way on a highway and illegal operation of a motor vehicle while under the influence.…
