Son Charged After Father Dies Following Assault In CT A Connecticut man was charged after firefighters responded to a home for medical assistance which turned out to be an assault and a death. The incident took place in New Haven County around 2:50 p.m. on Monday, April 10 in Waterbury at 27 Platt St. Waterbury firefighters responded to the home and found a 67-year-old man who was unresponsive and was transported to Saint Mary’s Hospital prior to police arrival on the scene, said Lt. Ryan Bessette, of the Waterbury Police.
