Horses Rescued After Trailer Overturns Two horses were saved after the trailer they were being hauled in was involved in a multi-vehicle crash. The crash took place around 7:42 a.m. Sunday, Jan. 6 on the Interstate 395-Route 32 connector in Waterford, according to the Cohanzie Fire Company. Responding firefighters from Waterford’s Quaker Hill Fire Company and the Cohanzie Fire Company found an overturned horse trailer, perched over an embankment, with two horses onboard, when they arrived.
