CT Woman Accused Of Attacking, Injuring Pair Of Police Officers
A Connecticut woman is behind bars after allegedly attacking and injuring two police officers who were performing a welfare check.
The incident occurred in Hartford County around 5 p.m., Tuesday, May 21, in Windsor Locks.
According to Lt. Paul Cherniack of the Windsor Locks Police, the two officers, one a case manager, were checking on Erica Verona, age 22, of Windsor Locks, who has a long history of aggressive behavior.
The officers were speaking with Verona outside when she abruptly moved to her vehicle parked in the driveway, claiming she was “getting her vape pen."

Bridgeport Man Charged After 4-Hour Crime Spree Robbing Multiple Women, Sexually Assaulting 1
A Fairfield County man has been charged after allegedly attacking and robbing multiple women over four hours.
Cecil Mills, age 35, of Bridgeport, was arrested around 11:30 a.m., on Saturday, Feb. 24 after a vehicle pursuit, crash, and foot chase that ended near the intersection of North Avenue and Madison Avenue.
According to Det. Detective Jeffrey Holtz of the Bridgeport Police, the victims all report being followed by what turned out to be a stolen Toyota Camry, before being robbed and assaulted.

Westchester Man Who Gave Cops Fake Name Arrested In Fairfield County, Police Say
A 31-year-old man who provided police with a fake name was arrested for criminal impersonation and other charges.
Isiah Freeman, of Mount Vernon, was arrested around 4 p.m., Friday, Jan. 31, after being stopped by Greenwich Police for driving a vehicle with a license plate that did not match, Greenwich Police said.
Once stopped, Freeman did not have any identification that could positively identify who he was and allegedly provided officers with a fake name and signed documents using the fictitious name, police said.

The girlfriend of a man who shot and killed his friend while high on drugs originally told police that the man was killed by someone he had a fight with earlier in the evening.
Davis Ramos, 34, of Danbury and formerly of Carmel, was arrested after he accidentally shot and killed Jason Hoffman, 33, of Brewster, on Wednesday, Sept. 4, according to court documents obtained by Patch.
