Fairfield County Man Nabbed After High-Speed Chase On Merritt Parkway Connecticut State Police were forced to use stop sticks to apprehend a motorist who took officers on a wild ride on Route 15. Members of the Wilton Police Department attempted to stop a Honda, driven by local resident Ijebol Holmes, on the Merritt Parkway at approximately 3:30 a.m. on Friday morning, when he sped away near the northbound exit 42 in Westport, state police said. The Honda was eventually spotted by a State Police trooper, still on the parkway, near exit 46 in Fairfield.
