Vehicle Stolen With Child Inside In Fairfield County Recovered By Police A stolen BMW with a child inside in Fairfield County was quickly recovered by police. The incident took place Thursday, March 24, in Greenwich at 1340 E Putnam Ave. The stolen car had a child under 13 years of age inside, said Captain Mark Zuccerella, of the Greenwich Police said.  Several police units flooded the area and located the BMW in front of the Hyatt Hotel at 1700 East Putnam Ave., Zuccerella said. Woman Tries To Swallow Drugs, Fights Officers During Hotel Arrest, Greenwich PD Says Police nabbed a couple at a local hotel for drugs after receiving a complaint of a fight taking place. Alexander Edell, 36, of Cos Cob, and Melaine Arias, 22, of Brooklyn, were charged with numerous drug charges after officers arrived at the Hyatt Hotel on E. Putnam Avenue around 10:45 a.m. Tuesday and found narcotics and drug paraphernalia in plain view in the hotel room, said Greenwich Police Lt. John Slusarz.
