A man was killed after a crash at a parking garage in Fairfield County. The incident happened around 11:45 p.m. Friday, May 26 in Stamford. A preliminary investigation revealed that a 2000 Nissan Pathfinder was traveling northbound on Houston Terrace when the vehicle drove across all lanes of traffic on East Main Street at a very high rate of speed, the Stamford Police Department said. A motorcyclist was critically injured after being ejected during a crash with an SUV. The crash took place around 7:55 p.m., Monday, July 19, on East Main Street in Stamford. Fire Breaks Out At Home In Fairfield County
Two families were displaced by a blaze that started when a dryer caught fire, according to firefighters. in Fairfield County. Three fire engines, a truck company, and a rescue company responded to the fire at a two-story, two-family house in Stamford on Houston Terrace at approximately 9:10 a.m. on Monday, Oct. 12.
