Fairfield County Thieves Again Targeting Unlocked Vehicles, Police Say Despite the current health emergency and stay-at-home orders, crime has continued to strike on Fairfield County town, with thieves targeting unlocked cars overnight in residential neighborhoods.  Trumbull Police said that over the weekend on Saturday, April 4 and Sunday, April 5, the town has one vehicle stolen and eight were opened and property was stolen, said Trumbull Police Lt. Cat Saved After Fire Breaks Out In Trumbull House Firefighters managed to save a cat during a large garage fire at a single-story Trumbull home. The fire took place around 4 p.m. Monday, Dec. 10, at a home on Hedgehog Road, said the Trumbull Fire Department. The first firefighters on scene found a home with an attached garage with an intense fire, the department said on Facebook.
