Man Arrested In Connection With $6K 'Grandparent Scam,' Greenwich Police Say A 30-year-old man was arrested after he allegedly was caught retrieving a UPS package that contained the proceeds from a "grandparent scam," said the Greenwich Police. Frederick Delacruz, of the Bronx, was arrested on Monday, Dec. 9, after he was allegedly seen retrieving the package that he believed contained $6,000 that were the proceeds of a grandparent scam in the Byram section of town, Greenwich Police said.  Delacruz led officers on a foot pursuit after being confronted by officers, police said.  He was apprehended a short distance away and was arrested without further inci…
