A woman has been charged with promoting prostitution at a busy Fairfield County spa. A former public works superintendent in Fairfield County has been sentenced to prison for committing environmental crimes and conspiring with others to defraud. State officials have released the identities of two men killed in a boating accident off the coast of Fairfield County.
