Retired Police Officer In Fairfield County Dies At Age 70 A longtime police officer in Fairfield County has died at the age of 70. Retired Norwalk Police Officer John Buchholz, of Broome County, in Endicott, New York, died on Thursday, Feb. 24, said Norwalk Police Department Chief Kulhawik. Buchholz joined the Norwalk Police Department in August 1975 and served for 21 years until his retirement in Nov. 1996. 25-Year-Old Man Killed, Two Injured In I-95 Stamford Crash A 25-year-old Westchester man was killed and two others were injured in a serious three-vehicle crash on I-95 in Stamford. The Friday evening crash caused the closure of all the northbound lanes in the area of Exit 6 before the right lane opened, Connecticut State Police said. Tamar Milteer of New Rochelle, a passenger in one of the cars, a Ford Fiesta, was pronounced dead at Stamford Hospital.  Another passenger in that car, 19-year-old Syerra Mcghee, also of New Rochelle, suffered serious injuries.
