New Warning Issued For Latest Scam In Fairfield County
In that past several weeks, numerous law enforcement agencies, across several states, including in Fairfield County, are reporting a new scam targeting elderly victims or "grandparent scams." In the latest scam, police say the scammers are contacting elderly victims by phone telling them a family member needs bail money because they have been arrested, usually out of state.
