Day Care Owner In Fairfield Sentenced For Killing Child With Benadryl The owner of a Fairfield daycare who was accused of killing a 4-month-old Shelton boy with Benadryl, was sentenced to 30 months in prison, according to the Fairfield State Attorney's Office. Carol Cardillo, 53, pleaded no contest to second-degree manslaughter in November, was charged last September in connection with the March 22, 2016, death of Adam Seagull, who died at her Edgewood Road home in Fairfield.
