Westport Police say they took custody of Ronnie Manning on Sunday, Sept. 22. Westchester Man Found Asleep In Car At New Canaan Gas Station Under Influence, Police Say A man from Westchester has been charged after police say he was found asleep in his car and under the influence at a gas station in New Canaan. New Canaan Police say they observed a motorist traveling northbound on South Avenue on Saturday, May 11 around 2:30 a.m. The vehicle allegedly swerved toward the police cruiser as it passed. The vehicle then pulled into the Mobil Station, and police say they observed the driver sitting inside, hunched over in sleep.
