Foxwoods Resort Casino, located in New London County, said in an announcement on Wednesday, Aug. 3, that a new Wahlburgers restaurant will open at the hotel and casino complex next summer. Wahlburgers at Foxwoods will be the brand's only Connecticut location. New Canaan Police say they responded to the Mobil Station at 16 South Ave. on a report of a man asleep in a vehicle in the parking lot on Wednesday, Oct. 9 around 3 a.m. Further investigation revealed that the driver, identified as Nestor Salomon, 29, of Dorchester, Massachusetts, was holding a half-full bottle of Champagne in his hand, police say.
