CT Man Accused Of Using Police Lights So He Could Get To Work Faster
A Connecticut man has been charged with allegedly impersonating a police officer after he was found to have police lights inside his Dodge Challenger so that he could get to work faster. New London County resident Michael Marshall, 43, of Groton, was charged on Wednesday, Oct. 25 during a stop on I-95. According to Connecticut State Police, an on-duty trooper out of Bridgeport after observing the Challenger displaying several steady red and blue illuminated lights. CT Woman, 25, Killed In Wrong-Way Driver Crash, Witnesses Sought
Connecticut State Police are seeking witnesses to a fatal wrong-way driver crash on Route 7 in Fairfield County that killed a 25-year-old woman. The collision took place in Fairfield County in Danbury around 1:55 a.m., Sunday in the southbound lane of the highway just north of Exit 7. According to state police, Danielle Dempsey, of Danbury, was driving a 2005 Honda Accord southbound on Route 7 when a 2018 Dodge Challenger driving in the wrong direction on the highway struck her vehicle head-on. Man Accused Of Driving At 130 MPH On Busy Connecticut Roadway
A 24-year-old man was charged with reckless driving after police said he drove at a speed of 130 mph in Connecticut. Authorities in Litchfield County saw a Dodge Challenger traveling "significantly faster" than surrounding traffic on Route 8 in Torrington at about 6:50 p.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 17, Connecticut State Police reported. Purse Thief Snatches Two From Vehicles Over Two Days In CT, Police Say
Police are searching for a man who allegedly stole two purses from vehicles within two days while the victims were present. The Ansonia Police Department said the two events took place on Saturday, Jan. 30 and Sunday, Jan. 31, at the Cumberland Farms on Pershing Drive and the other from the Stop & Shop on Division Street. Fiat Chrysler is recalling more than 1.6 million vehicles worldwide as auto companies continue replacing malfunctioning Takata front airbags that have proven to be dangerous over the past year.
