Greenwich Man Accused Of Stealing $1K In Merchandise From Post Road Store A Greenwich man was arrested after allegedly stealing more than a $1,000 in goods from the Burlington Coat Factory. Brandon M. McLaughlin, 25, of Greenwich's Cos Cob area, was arrested on Jan. 2, by Orange Police after they responded to the store at 80 Boston Post Road, for a larceny in progress, said the Orange Police Department. Police said officers stopped and searched McLaughlin and allegedly found $1,078.75 in merchandise he had taken without paying for, police said.  Officers also found that he was in possession of drug paraphernalia and devices used for shoplifting. 14-Year-Old Maserati Thief Caught In Greenwich, Police Say A 14-year-old was charged with ripping off a 2007 Maserati Levante. The Greenwich teen, who was not identified due to his age, was arrested on a warrant in connection with the theft of the vehicle from a home on River Road in Cos Cob, Greenwich Police said. The car reportedly had the keys in the ignition at the time of the theft. An investigation led to the teen who was charged with burglary and larceny. He was scheduled to appear in Waterbury Juvenile Court on Monday. Additional details were not released due to the suspect's age.

The unidentified teen was arrested around 3:12 a.m. Monday after Greenwich Police investigated a complaint of a suspicious, possibly stolen vehicle on River Road at Post Road in Cos Cob, Greenwich Police said.
