Staples HS Assistant Football Coach Placed On Administrative Leave An assistant football coach at a Fairfield County high school has been placed on administrative leave for an undisclosed alleged indiscretion. Jon Zames, an associate head coach and coordinator for the Staples High School varsity football team in Westport, has been placed on paid leave since Friday, Nov. 8, when an issue was presented to the school’s administration, officials said. No other information has been released by the school district.
