Popular Chick-fil-A Sauce Recalled Fast-food chain Chick-fil-A announced it is recalling one of its most popular dipping sauce cups and advising customers to toss them in the trash due to the possible presence of undeclared allergens.  According to a notification posted on the eatery's website, anyone who took home Polynesian Sauce cups between Wednesday, Feb. 14 and Tuesday, Feb. 27 should discard them because they may, in fact, contain a different product that contains wheat and soy. A new survey by investment firm Piper Sandler found that Generation Z’s favorite restaurant is Chick-fil-A. Of those polled, 18 percent picked the Atlanta-based chicken chain as their favorite place to eat, followed by Starbucks (17 percent) and Chipotle (13 percent). Chick-fil-A Announces Plans For New Locations In Region Chick-fil-A has shared its plans to open new locations in the region.  Representatives from the company said the fast-food chain will open the new locations on Long Island in both Nassau, in Rosedale, and Suffolk, in Huntington in 2022. Connecticut Could Soon Get A 12th Chick-fil-A Connecticut may soon get its 12th Chick-fil-A. Plans have been submitted to the town of Manchester to open a restaurant at The Plaza at Buckland Hills on Pleasant Valley Road over by the Taco Bell. If approved Chic-fil-A, a fried chicken franchise, would construct a new 5,000-square-foot restaurant with parking. Connecticut already has 11 Chick-fil-A’s including locations in West Hartford, Enfield, and North Haven.

Chick-fil-a Robbed At Gunpoint During Breakfast Rush, Norwalk Police Say Police are searching for an armed robber who held up a Fairfield County Chick-fil-al during the breakfast rush. The robbery took place around 7 a.m., Friday, Feb. 14, at the Chick-fil-a located at 467 Connecticut Ave., in Norwalk, said Norwalk Police Lt. Jared Zwickler. Responding officers arrived on scene and confirmed a robbery did take place, Zwickler said. No one was injured and police are still on the scene investigating. Detectives ask anyone with information, or who noticed suspicious activity in the area early Friday to call 203-854-3011, or anonymously at 203-854-3011.
