Norwalk Man Admits To Escaping From Halfway House A Fairfield County man with a conviction for a weapons charge may be heading back behind bars after attempting a great escape from his halfway house in Connecticut. Branden Huertas, formerly of Norwalk, has pleaded guilty to escaping from custody after he was arrested by members of the Norwalk Police Department Special Services Division on School Street in July when he escaped from the custody of the Bureau of Prisons.
