Man, 26, Taken Ito Custody After Attacking Family Member, Newtown Police Say A 26-year-old local man was arrested after he attacked a family member and was found naked on a neighbor's back deck. Kevin McCarthy of Newtown was arrested around 10 p.m. Monday after Newtown Police were called to a residence on Bonnie Brae Drive to investigate the report of a family member attacking another family member and then fled the residence, Newtown Police said. Police located McCarthy shortly after they received a report from a resident on Brushy Hill Road of a naked man on their back deck, police said.
