Fatal CT Officer-Involved Shooting Under Investigation Police in Connecticut shot and killed a suspect Thursday evening, Sept. 19, near a car wash in New Haven County.  The shooting happened around 5 p.m. near the Splash Car Wash on Boston Post Road in West Haven. Sweet Escape: Ice Cream Truck Stolen In West Haven With $30K Of Treats Inside A 35-year-old man with a huge sweet tooth was arrested in Connecticut after he hopped in an ice cream truck and made a run for it – stealing $30,000 worth of the sweet stuff along with the truck. The New Haven County incident occurred on Monday, Jan. 29 in the city of West Haven, according to local police.
