The body of a 38-year-old Hudson Valley man who went missing after the small fishing boat he was in sank in the waters of the Long Island Sound off the coast of Fairfield County has been found. Emergency crews along the Erie Canal were called at around 11:20 a.m. Monday, June 12, with reports that a vessel had capsized at the Lockport Cave, located in Lockport in Niagara County. Officials in Connecticut are seeking the public’s assistance in locating a 24-year-old Hartford County man who was reported missing after a boating incident on an area lake. A late night boating expedition wound up resulting in a scare before first responders in Stamford could make the save of a drifting boat.
