16 Assault Weapons, Explosive Device Removed From Ridgefield Home A 49-year-old man was arrested after state police removed an explosive device from his Ridgefield home along with 16 assault weapons, 76 unregistered high-capacity magazines, and six silencers. Mark Albin was arrested on Thursday, March 28, after Ridgefield Police responded to a disturbance at 180 Tackora Trail at 12:30 a.m., said Ridgefield Police Capt. Shawn Platt. While taking Albin into custody for disorderly conduct, officers removed firearms from the residence for safekeeping, Platt said.
