The game begins at 7 p.m. and will be televised on ESPN2. Westport is making its first trip to the Little League World Series after winning its first New England championship on Saturday.

Westport is 18-0 this summer in winning District 2, Section 1, State and New England championships. The team arrived in Williamsport on Sunday, and the All-Stars are one of eight teams from across the country to make it to Williamsport. Eight teams are also in the international bracket.

If Westport wins on Thursday, it will play on Sunday at 2 p.m. against the winner of a game between Texas and Washington. A loss would force Westport to play on Saturday against the loser of the Washington-Texas game.

Nasvhille won the Southeast Regional with a 5-3 win over Virginia. Earlier in the tournament, Virginia posted a 3-1 win over the All-Stars from the South Nashville Little League.
